This program is intended to teach a participant how to lose weight for the long term while maintaining health. Within an 8-week period , one cannot rationally expect to lose a huge amount of weight and this would not be recommended for good health. This program will get you started in the right direction and allow you to see what is proper & realistic to expect as you continue either on your own or with the guidance of a personal trainer. This program will give you all the tools and education you need to understand how to achieve your goals.

It is generally recommended to lose no more than 1-2 pounds per week so as not to compromise health & to maintain the weight lost over the long term. This will also help to ensure that the weight lost is bodyfat rather than water or muscle. The average individual can then expect to lose anywhere from 8-20 lbs in an 8 week period. This translates to over 100 lbs lost in a year if one continues to follow a healthy nutrition and exercise program.
